Broad Function and Purpose of Position: Complete responsibility for Product Management and marketing of Exterior Wall Coatings line of Products and Application Fields within RSB Building & Parking Target Markets. Create, maintain, and manage a Product Range that results in profitable and sustainable growth for Sika.

Specific Responsibilities:
•    Overall responsible for growth and profitability of the Wall Coatings product line.
•    Technical expert fully capable to support field installations with training, project start up, project implementation and troubleshooting.
•    Technical expert capable to work closely with external customers, sales, RD, Operations and other to manage the creation and development of new products.
•    The ‘face of Sika’ within the industry actively participating and leading technical committees, delivering presentations, exhibiting and networking at industry tradeshows, conventions and other gatherings.
•    Conduct market research and analysis to determine size and attractiveness of product markets and application fields together with Director of Product Management and Sr. VP RSB B&P.
•    Measure overall effectiveness using the metrics of Profitability by Application Field, Sales and margins, Market Share, and Focus Product sales
•    Understand Sika's product market share vs. competition, measure it regularly, and make it grow
•    Develop sound Strategic (3-year) Plans together with Sales management and implement
•    Fully responsible for the accuracy of all product literature and electronic media
•    Conduct thorough and well documented Field Tests within a timely manner to meet commitments Responsible for the Sales and Customer focus of the Expert Teams and must ensure the Team is driven toward the commercial goals and commitments
•    Establish realistic sales targets together with Sales Management within the Business Unit
•    Develop sales to meet target levels in all business units through close liaison with the sales force and key customers


 

Tu experiencia - Nuestras fortalezas

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical field of study
  • Min. 5 years experience in a Technical Marketing or Sales role in Wall Coatings marekt
  • Sales experience extremely desirable
  • Min. 2 year site/field work in construction a plus
  • High level of communication skills
  • Must have excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
